COLLISION

A object about the encounter of urban space, history, and visual rhythm.

The work is composed of reclaimed materials from the transformation of a former slaughterhouse into new residential and commercial spaces. More than remnants, these materials carry the imprint of change and potential.

Formally, the sculpture is based on three photographs by Guido Klumpe. Seemingly unrelated urban moments are spatially interlaced and reimagined, what appears fragmented becomes form, what is transitional becomes narrative.
