WALK

The spatial object WALK invites visitors to move around as they would in an urban space. Window frames (from the Grindel high-rise buildings), pipes, wooden panels, and doors (from the Gängeviertel district) by Schrott Bewahre are used to create a walk-in installation that combines movement, architecture, and material history. All connections are plugged rather than screwed, which emphasizes the temporary, changeable character and makes the idea of recycling visible.
