PARKHAUS HILDESHEIM

The parking garage in Hildesheim becomes part of a new urban narrative through the artistic design.

Based on the existing structure, the lines, surfaces and depths were reinterpreted and the building transformed in an aesthetic way.

My work understands architecture as a dynamic foundation that can evolve through perception and artistic intervention.

Instead of demolition and new construction, this project shows how the existing building can be creatively activated and its presence in the urban space strengthened.

The white space in the middle was left blank because it was to be designed by another artist at a later date.
