TRANSPARENCY

The expansive object TRANSPARENCY consists exclusively of recycled elements that are simply plugged together without any glue or screws. The window sashes come from the Grindel high-rise buildings and were sourced from Schrott Bewahre. The ceiling panels come from a bar and were made available by Atelier Gagai. These components are combined with wood scraps from carpentry workshops to form a new structure. The color scheme is based on reflections of nature and the sky as seen through windows. A multi-layered, translucent composition that brings material biographies to life.
